Why We Exist
Profits to Kids was created in parallel with NIHILIS, a Non-profit Couture Brand. The two entities work together to fulfill the vision of a system wherein individual and creative expression brings meaningful, tangible impacts to the educational journeys of rural, left-behind children. Profits-to-kids, as described in its name, utilizes profits from this couture brand to support and create more educational opportunities for the left-behind children at their schools, such as video lessons, physical infrastructure, and development in sports.
About Me
Hi, I am Jonathan, responsible for all initiatives and coordination at Profits-to-Kids, working persistently with different teams to realize the various projects, both digital and physical, to provide more opportunities for left-behind children in rural mountainous communities. Concurrently, I am also the founder of Nihilis, the non-profit brand that is the primary fundraising source of PTK, transforming our aims into continuous steps grounded in reality.

Created and coached left-behind children in basketball, funding the creation of a school basketball team for GuiLiu Secondary/Primary school. Donating sports equipment and custom jerseys.

PTK has funded the creation of a school library for GaoPai Primary/Secondary School. Working alongside the school to provide infrastructural support, including funding of all bookshelves, chairs and reading tables. Creating a space for left-behind children to further their learning and intellectual pursuits.

Providing Left-behind children with art supplies and in-person guidance, fostering their abilities at self-expression and creativity, whilst prompting the development of personal interests.

Fostering awareness through art
Selected paintings and works from left-behind children were submitted to an art exhibition in Shanghai to draw attention to the existence of structural inequalities that such kids face growing up. Further, it acted as a way to encourage the kids to further their interests in art by showing them the power and impact of their works, as well as the places it can reach.
